You’ll be supported by Kylie Wheeler, a late-diagnosed neurodivergent psychologist (AuDHDer) who understands that traditional systems don’t always fit every brain.

Whether you're looking to better understand your neurotype or gently process emotional patterns, you’ll be met here with calm, clarity, and evidence-based care, from the comfort of your own space.

Sessions move at your pace—with compassion, not urgency.

All assessments options are diagnostic — each provides a formal outcome based on DSM-5-TR criteria. The difference between options lies in interview depth and report detail, not whether a diagnosis is made.

Upgrade Path: If you start with a Discovery Assessment and later choose Insight or Comprehensive, the fee you’ve paid will be credited toward your chosen package (within 6 months).

What to Expect

We aim to make the assessment & therapy processes as smooth, clear, and supportive as possible. Here’s how it works:

  1. Send us an email enquiry or book directly through our Assessment Services page

We will contact you via email with further information and booking options. Select your preferred appointment type and time through our secure booking system (Zanda).

2. Pay 50% deposit on booking to secure your appointment

Your booking is confirmed once 50% payment is received. Full payment is required 48 hours prior to assessment interview.

3. Complete Your Intake Pack

Once payment is received, you’ll be sent:

  • A comprehensive intake form

  • Initial questionnaires

  • Our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Consent Form to review and sign

5. Attend Your Appointment

We’ll meet via secure Telehealth for your assessment session. This is a collaborative space where we’ll explore your experiences at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.

Our aim is to understand you well enough during the session to provide a thorough and accurate assessment. Occasionally, an additional session may be needed to complete the process — if so, this will be offered at no extra cost. You may also be sent additional questionnaires, depending on the information gathered so far.

6. Receive your letter or report

You will receive your letter or report approximately 2-6 weeks after your session (depending on level of assessment selected). You will also receive a copy of Your Neurodivergent Discovery Journey — a supportive resource designed to help you make sense of your diagnosis and begin exploring what it means for you.

7. Optional follow-up sessions

Optional feedback sessions to explore your diagnosis are included for all assessment options (30 minutes for the Discovery and Insight options and 50 minutes for the Comprehensive option). You will receive an offer for a feedback session on receiving your letter or report. If you would like additional support after your feedback session, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate under a Mental Health Treatment Plan. For follow-up therapy sessions, you can book appointments with your psychologist or email us.

After your assessment, you’ll receive a digital handout with suggestions for support, strategies, and next steps.

Do I have to be on camera during the assessment?
At the start of the interview, we ask that you have your camera on to meet your clinician. After that, you're welcome to turn your video off for some or all of the session, & you’re welcome to have a support person present. You're also welcome to let us know in advance what would help you feel most supported so that this is a low-demand, affirming space for you.

Can I use this assessment report for NDIS application?
This report is not intended for NDIS access applications. If you're seeking an NDIS-specific report, please email us before booking. We can guide you toward the appropriate assessment and documentation if needed..

Do I have to fill out the forms and questionnaires prior to the assessment session.

We encourage you to complete the forms in advance if possible, as they help us better understand your experiences. That said, we recognise life is demanding, and the session can still go ahead if forms are incomplete—we’ll work at your pace.
